ROLL Weather Update

40 degrees, rain here in Colorado Springs this Wednesday morning about .6 tenths of rain measured so far. Pressure is down to 28.98 inches of mercury, which is the lowest I can ever remember seeing in Colorado. Today will be interesting! Blizzard Warnings for Colorado Springs after 10 am to Midnight tonight. Look for rising winds out of the North, rain changing to heavy, wet snow this afternoon. Right now they are expecting only about 2-4 inches in the Springs, but with the winds, which could reach hurricane force 75 mph we may have white out conditions. If you live to the north, things will be much worse. 6-12 inches from Monument, Black Forest, Palmer Lake Northwards. Expect zero visibility, drifts, closed roads, power outages this afternoon. It will be very bad on the Plains out towards Limon, Sterling, Greeley. Denver is expecting 4-8 inches, and the same with Fort Collins. Cheyenne is expecting 12-18 inches! Needless to say, travel to the North or East is not recommended today. Stay warm and batten down the hatches! Wind will be the biggest feature of this storm.
